Dutchess Community College provides an enriching, challenging and supportive academic environment that allows students to discover, explore and pursue their interests. Our more than 50 programs, in areas from aviation to performing arts, provide a solid foundation for your next step, whether you plan to transfer to a four-year school and earn a bachelor’s degree, or enter the workforce after completing your program. Our students transfer to top four-year colleges nationwide (including Cornell, RPI, NYU, Pace, Penn State and SUNY schools) and are sought after by employers who know the value of a DCC education.
You’ll find our faculty engaging, accessible and committed to your success in the classroom and beyond. DCC also provides a number of free academic support services to help students better understand classroom material, improve math and writing abilities and enhance study- and test-taking skills.

Students planning to continue on for a bachelor’s degree typically enroll in A.A. or A.S. programs, which require the completion of between 60 and 64 credits. Those interested in getting a job after graduation should consider a vocational program that grants an A.A.S. degree or certificate.
