Exploration, collaboration and a commitment to growth. We expect this of our students, and we expect the same of ourselves.

DCC educators never stop learning

The Teaching Learning Center (TLC) connects faculty and staff with the knowledge, tools and support to drive innovation and promote the success of all DCC students. Our work is vital to the College's strategic goal of advancing employee learning and professional growth to benefit of our community.

The Dr. Mary Louise Van Winkle Professional Staff Teaching Learning Center (TLC) supports faculty and staff to lead and develop innovative strategies that promote meaningful learning and student success. The Mary Louise Van Winkle Teaching and Learning Center (TLC) provides pathways to institutional excellence by investing in the professional skills, academic knowledge, and cultural proficiency of all DCC faculty and staff.  By providing professional development and training opportunities that are designed to enhance their knowledge, skills, and competencies, the TLC supports, promotes, and enhances inclusive teaching and effective practices to support student learning and success.
