Dutchess Community College is located in Poughkeepsie, at the center of New York’s beautiful and historic Hudson River Valley.

Just 90 miles south of Albany and 80 miles north of Manhattan, the area is renowned for historic landmarks (including the home and museum of Franklin Delano Roosevelt, Eleanor Roosevelt’s Val-Kill retreat and the Samuel Morse estate), the Walkway Over the Hudson, scenic hiking and biking trails, educational institutions including Vassar and Marist Colleges, SUNY New Paltz and the Culinary Institute of America, restaurants, festivals and more.

DCC is close to the majestic Hudson River and easily accessible by Metro-North and Amtrak train service. Shopping malls, movie theaters, an ice skating rink and other recreational activities are within a short drive.

Our award-winning campus is open to visitors during normal college hours, and we invite you to enjoy the scenic views, the sculpture garden and art displays, and our beautifully maintained grounds.

The main campus is located at 53 Pendell Road in Poughkeepsie, NY. The college is easily accessible by Metro-North and Amtrak train service. The Poughkeepsie train station is less than three miles from campus. Dutchess County Transit's Route H bus makes local stops from Monday through Saturday.

DCC students can ride Dutchess County Public Transit for free! Dutchess County buses stop at the Poughkeepsie Campus and The Center of Excellence for Industry & Innovation in Fishkill.
