Student Government
The Student Government Association (SGA) gives you the opportunity to be active in your campus and local communities. Members attend weekly meetings where you'll discuss various events, activities and issues. View our by-laws and constitution.
You'll participate in service projects, learn about the governance process and make new and lasting friendships. Involvement in SGA can help you gain confidence, practice collaboration and develop networking and leaderships skills that will serve you for a lifetime.
The Student Government Association needs students to fill positions in our Executive Board and Student Senate. You must be a full-time student and have no violations of the Student Code of Conduct, with a minimum GPA of 2.5.
Open Positions
We're looking for students for the following position:
Student Senator
Senators attend the SGA Senate meetings on Tuesdays at 12:30 p.m. Senators represent the students, so you'll need to be aware of issues concerning the students to be able to act as a link between the students and the Senate. This position is elected by the Student Senate. Senate meetings take place twice a month in a hybrid format — both in person and via Zoom.
If you're interested, please contact Matt Hanlon.
