Movie Tickets

What's better than sitting in comfort watching new releases at local theaters? Knowing you didn't pay full price.

Due to the popularity of this event there will be a limit of two student tickets and five guest tickets, for each theater, per week.

Take a break and have some fun! You can buy tickets for any of these off-campus events in the Student Activities Office in Dutchess Hall Room 201 starting January 22.

Snowtubing at Hunter Mountain

Saturday, February 10

Tubing lanes nearly 1,000 feet long, a snack bar, fire pit, and tons of family fun - Hunter Mountain's snow tubing park is an adventure for all ages! With a carpet lift to get you back to the top, you can slide more and walk less. Bus leaves Lot D at 11 a.m. and returns from Hunter Mountain at 3:30 p.m.

The Kartrite Resort & Indoor Waterpark

Monticello, NY

Saturday, February 17

Get ready to be amazed as you enter our reclaimed conservatory full of rich and lush vegetation and New York’s best water adventures. Covered entirely by the world’s largest Texlon transparent roof, it’s 84 degrees of summer perfection – all year long. Don’t forget the sunscreen (even in the middle of winter). It’s the ideal Catskills waterpark adventure. Price includes transportation, four-hour access to the water park and a $12 food voucher. Bus leaves Lot D at 1:30 p.m. and departs Kartrite at 7 p.m.

Hadestown: The Myth, The Musical (NYC)

Sunday, April 14
Showtime 3:00 p.m.

Hadestown intertwines two mythic tales—that of young dreamers Orpheus and Eurydice, and that of King Hades and his wife Persephone—as it invites you on a hell-raising journey to the underworld and back. Mitchell’s beguiling melodies and Chavkin’s poetic imagination pit industry against nature, doubt against faith, and fear against love. Performed by a vibrant ensemble of actors, dancers and singers, Hadestown is a haunting and hopeful theatrical experience that grabs you and never lets go. Bus leaves from Lot D at 11 a.m. and returns immediately after the show.

Rays vs. Yankees at Yankee Stadium

Saturday, April 20: Game time 1:05 p.m.

See the Bronx Bombers take on the Tampa Bay Rays. The bus leaves Lot D at 10:00 a.m. and leaves immediately after the game.

Corteo: Cirque du Soleil, MVP Arena, Albany

Sunday, April 21

Corteo, which means cortege in Italian, is a joyous procession, a festive parade imagined by a clown. The show brings together the passion of the actor with the grace and power of the acrobat to plunge the audience into a theatrical world of fun, comedy and spontaneity situated in a mysterious space between heaven and earth. Bus leaves Lot D at 10:30 a.m. and returns immediately after the show.

April NYC Trip

Saturday, April 27

Hit the museums, see a show, or just tour the city. We’ll drop you off and you can wander at your leisure. The bus drops off and picks up at Bryant Park. Bus leaves Lot D at 8:00 a.m. and departs New York City at 6:00 p.m.
