Full-Time Enrollment 

Full-time students are enrolled in 12 or more credits in the fall or spring semester. You must maintain full-time status to live in on-campus housing or participate in DCC intercollegiate sports.

Part-Time Enrollment

If you have work or family responsibilities to consider, part-time enrollment may be a better fit. That means you will take 11 or fewer credits in the fall or spring.

Transfer to Dutchess Community College 

Many students decide to transfer to DCC after beginning their studies at another college or university. No matter where you started your education, our experts work with you at every step to help you meet your goals. You can transfer up to 40 credit hours from your previous college. Our admissions team reviews your transcripts to ensure all possible transfer credits are applied.
