Credit-free Continuing Education
Thank you for your interest in our credit-free programs!
Per SUNY guidelines, all DCC students (credit and credit-free) must be fully vaccinated to attend in-person classes and/or use any on-campus service or resource. All registered students must verify their vaccination status through the SUNY Opt-In app. You will need your DCC ID and password to access the app. These are made available to you within 24-hours of registration. If you need assistance, please contact us at 845-431-8900 or 845-431-8390 for EMS programming. Please refer to the What Students Need to Know page for further information.
To register immediately, select the course from the categories below and complete the prompts. Make sure you have your credit or debit card handy.
If you are not able to pay with a credit or debit card because:
- You are requesting a payment plan (only available for courses that cost more than $500, or the EMT Refresher course.)
- You have been approved for 3rd-party funding (for example, from Dutchess One Stop or ACCES-VR).
- You can only pay by check or money order

Please Note: Students wishing to register for High School Equivalency (HSE) or English as a Second Language (ESL) courses should follow a different process. Click the buttons below for more information on how to register for those programs.

If you are interested in setting up a payment plan for a specific course(s), you must contact Student Financial Services (SFS) at firstname.lastname@example.org. SFS will send you an email that includes information on the specifics of the payment plan, a PDF agreement form to sign, and a link to register.
In order to complete your registration, you must:
- Download the Payment Plan form and either print to sign or e-sign the document
- Upload the signed Payment Plan form, along with a copy of your photo ID
- Make a down payment.
The form must be signed for registration to be considered complete. Signing the Payment Plan form means you are responsible for all tuition and fees associated with the course regardless of whether you complete the course. Once initial registration and payment are complete, you will receive an email with a link to submit future payment installments through the Student Gateway Portal. Be sure to save this information for future payments so that you do not risk being administratively withdrawn from your course.
3rd Party Funding
You must first predetermine your eligibility with the 3rd party funding agency (e.g. Dutchess One Stop or ACCES-VR) and meet whatever requirements they have for selection. Afterwards, please contact the Office of Workforce Development and Continuing Education at email@example.com or 845-431-8900. We will discuss the details and expectations of the course(s) you are interested in. If both parties agree the course meets the needs of the student, our office will provide appropriate documentation directly to the agencies, to start the funding approval process. Once funding is approved, we will reach out to you with a special link to register.
Check or Money Order
You must come to campus to the Registrar and Student Financial Service Offices. In order to come to campus, please refer to the What Visitors Need to Know page for current health and safety protocols. We highly encourage all visitors to get vaccinated before they visit the DCC campus. A reminder that once you register for a class and become a student, you must be fully vaccinated to return to campus for any class or on-campus services.
