Important info you'll need for your workshop appointment.

Don’t let the stress of completing your financial aid application stop you from receiving the funds that you need to attend college this fall!

Signing up for our financial aid completion days will allow for you to come to campus with your parent “contributors” to receive assistance from professional staff to complete your online application for federal financial aid. Events are specifically tailored to meet the needs of our future students. Members of the general community are also welcome to attend the future DCC student sessions. Once you sign up for your appointment...

Don’t forget to prepare by collecting the following to ensure that your appointment is a success:

  1. Get Your FSA ID at least 3 days prior to your appointment:
Ensure that every individual who will be contributing to your education has their own unique FSA ID. A contributor is defined as anyone who is required to provide information as part of a student's FAFSA submission, and may be a biological parent, step-parent, adoptive parent, or spouse of a student. The term contributor refers to an individual's contribution of information to the student's FAFSA, not an obligation to pay for the student's education.
  2. You must bring copies of the 2022 federal income tax return for the parents and the student (if filed) to assist in form completion. If you have W-2s for 2022 we recommend that you bring those also.
  3. Bring your social security number & date of birth information for yourself and your parent, if you don't know this information.
