Peer Health Educators

Peer Health Educators (PHEs) are paid student workers who are trained by C&CS to become Certified Peer Educators. PHEs plan and implement health and wellness educational programming for the entire campus community on a range of topics including alcohol and substance use/abuse, sexual health, stress management, and a range of mental health issues. Students who are PHEs gain valuable experience. If you are studying psychology, medicine, nursing, social work, education, communication, or any human services field, then this may be a good fit for you. To apply, download an application, call 845-431-8040, or stop by C&CS in Room 301 of the Orcutt Student Services Building.
