Earn a Drone Microcredential this Summer at DCC

June 1, 2021 -- Preparing for the FAA Remote Pilot Certificate to fly your drone commercially? Or perhaps you want to learn how to safely operate and maintain your drone? Maybe you’d like to learn how to shoot video with a drone? And you want to do it all this summer? 

You can. 

Take any one of the three courses on offer or better yet, “stack” them together to earn DCC’s brand-new credit-free drone microcredential.   

Courses offered include: 

- Commercial Drone Operator (DRN 101) 

- Maintaining and Flying Your Drone (DRN 102) 

- Introduction to Drone Videography (DRN 103) 

Each course runs for about three weeks and which when stacked together, allows participants to earn the entire microcredential by the end of the summer. 

The first course on offer is DRN 102 Maintaining and Flying your Drone, which will run from June 15 to July 1. DRN 101 Commercial Drone Operator Is on deck from July 6 to 27; and DRN 103 Intro to Drone Videography will round out the offerings from August 3 to 19.   -
