Homeschool Students

Finish high school while earning college credits! You can get a head start on college or enhance your homeschool curriculum with credit classes at DCC.

Did You Know?

According to US Census Bureau, the percentage of household homeschooling their children in New York State jumped from 1.2% in spring 2020 to 10.1% in fall 2020.

Enhance your homeschooling program—or earn college credits—by partnering with DCC! Here are two of the most common ways to go about meeting NYS requirements for secondary education graduation requirements:

  1. You can take classes required by your school district and submit transcripts to your school's guidance counselor at the end of each semester.
  2. Or you can enroll in a 24-credit program that satisfies New York State's High School Equivalency Diploma.

Take Classes with DCC While Homeschooling

  • Save Time. Earn credits you can apply toward college degree and certificate programs.
  • Make Progress on your future major or career, which could lower your future college tuition costs.
