Golf Tournament

Save the Date: May 20, 2024 

The 34th Annual Dutchess Community College Foundation Golf Tournament will be held on Monday, May 20, 2024 at the McCann Memorial Golf Course in Poughkeepsie, NY. Originally established with generous support from the family of Jack Orcutt, this tournament provides us an opportunity not only to share in an excellent round of golf, but also to celebrate one of the College’s founding staff members and its first director of Student Activities.

Our day begins with a barbecue lunch and continues with a great afternoon of golf, followed by a dinner filled with lively raffle drawings and prize presentations. The tournament attracts golfers who understand the important role the Dutchess Community College Foundation plays in raising funds to support the students of the Hudson Valley.

The DCC Foundation provides more than $800,000 annually to Dutchess Community College to support student scholarships, emergency need grants, student technology and other educational initiatives – all because of your generosity and that of like-minded individuals. The golf tournament proceeds represented approximately $50,000 in support of student scholarships and educational initiatives. Our focus is to give deserving students the extra help they need, especially in these times, to pursue their higher education and attain their career goals.
