Learn how to navigate the Cloud through computer support and threat assessment skills  

This credit-bearing microcredential provides students with skills to effectively provide computer support. The coursework includes learning MS Office, implementing security protocols, studying computer components, and utilizing operating system functionality. In addition, you will be able to analyze the virtual components in the cloud and learn how to navigate a cloud infrastructure.

Upon completion of this microcredential, you will be:

  • Proficient in MS Office and able to assist users in the software

  • Able to effectively navigate a cloud environment

  • Able to assist users in Windows operating system issues

  • Able to define and differentiate OS components

  • Using MS Powershell to automate processes

  • Able to identify security threats and implement appropriate protection and mitigation protocols
