How to Register for Classes

Registration Information


Register Online:

Click here to register online. Online registration is encouraged. 

NOTE: To register for non-credit classes that start prior to December 31, 2018, please call the Office of Community of Community Service at 845-431-8910 to register.  

Cash:
To pay by cash or check, visit the Office of Community Services in Bowne Hall, Room 118 at the main campus, 53 Pendell Road, Poughkeepsie, NY. Credit cards will no longer be accepted by phone and checks will not be accepted by mail.

Mon, Wed, Thu, Fri: 8:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m.
Tue: 8:00 a.m.- 7:00 p.m.

Medical Authorization:
When registering a minor (under 18) for non-credit courses, you will be sent an Emergency Medical Authorization Form, which must be completed and brought to the instructor at the first class.

Tuition Refund Policy:
Refunds for withdrawal from non-credit courses will be given if requested prior to the end of the business day preceding the day the course starts. If a refund request is approved for a course, a $10 processing fee will be deducted from the refund.

Refunds for withdrawal from Enrichment or Sports Academies will be given if requested prior to the end of the business day preceding the first day of the academy. If a refund is approved, a $20 fee per section will be assessed. No refunds will be given after the academy week has begun.

Senior Citizen Tuition Policy
Individuals 65 or older may register for non-credit computer classes and defensive driving classes for half of the published tuition. A quality copy of a photo ID must accompany first registration – this will only need to be done once.
