Refund Policy

Credit-Free Refund Policy

A full refund or complimentary transfer will be given for any courses that are canceled by the College. Except for the Program Exceptions noted below, students may withdraw from a course with a full refund up until 3:30 p.m. on the last business day before the course begins.

Students who wish to withdraw within the first week of class for any reason may receive either:

  • a 50% refund; or
  • one complimentary transfer to a future offering of the course.

No additional refunds or transfers will be offered without significant, documented, and unavoidable reasons for course withdrawal.

Program Exceptions

Academy of Music

Full refunds will be given for any courses that are canceled by the College. Additional refunds are only possible if requested at least 14 days in advance of the individual lesson or group class start date.

Drivers Education

Full refunds will be given if the College cancels the course or to those who drop the course within 2 business days of the course start date. No full or partial refunds will be issued for this course once the course is in session

EMT and Related Programs

Students may withdraw from a class with a full refund within the first week of class for any reason. No additional refunds or transfers will be offered without significant, documented reasons for course withdrawal.

HSE (High School Equivalency) & ESL (English as a Second Language)

Students may withdraw from a course with a full refund during the first three weeks of classes. After the first three weeks, there is a $10.00 non-refundable fee applied. No additional refunds or transfers will be offered without significant, documented, and unavoidable reasons for course withdrawal.

CareerStep Online Courses

Policy pertains to the following programs: Pharmacy Technician, Medical Assistant, Medical Administrative Assistant, Medical Coding & Billing, Medical Transcription & Editing, Executive Assistant, CompTia Network +, and CompTia Security +

If, for any reason, a student withdraws after the initial 14-day review period, they are not released from their obligation to pay the course fees in full and they are not entitled to any refund.
