Health & Safety Procedures

Our group classes and lessons will be offered on campus with all appropriate health and safety guidelines. Some classes will be offered with an online option.

Our instructors are experienced in delivering high-quality musical instruction in an online format using Zoom, Skype, FaceTime, etc., and providing technical assistance on how to get everything set up. To take online lessons and classes, students will need a reliable internet connection, a device (smartphone, computer, tablet, etc.), and a place where they can make music.

In the future, if the Academy of Music is directed to switch to a completely online format, students will be allowed to continue online or receive a full or partial refund based on the number of classes they received. If moved to an online format, instructional days and times will remain the same.

COVID-related protocols vary based on guidance from CDC, NYS, SUNY and Dutchess County. See updated campus guidelines here.
