Admissions Checklist: Early Admit/Bridge

Please use this checklist as a guide to help you apply to DCC for the Early Admit/Bridge Program and meet the steps necessary to register and prepare for classes. This program is open to high school juniors and seniors.

1. Complete Your Early Admissions Application

Upon application submission, an email is automatically sent to your guidance counselor (or parent/guardian for homeschooled students) requesting permission to take college level courses at DCC.

2. Submit Official Transcripts

Your guidance counselor (or parent/guardian if home schooled) will also need to send your transcript.

3. Take Academic Placement Tests

Part-time early admission students looking to take English or math courses must be academically placed into the course. This can occur via transcript review or placement testing. Full-time bridge program students must place into college-level English and math in order to participate. Do not take a test until we review all transcripts. Students who need testing accommodations must contact the Office of Accommodative Services at (845) 431-8055 prior to taking the placement test.
