What You Can Study in our Criminal Justice Programs

You're eager to learn, but you're eager to work, too. At DCC, you have options: Earn your associate degree and get to work, transfer to a four-year program, or bring your career to new heights with a microcredential.

Criminal Justice - Public & Private Security (A.A.S)

This program is for you if you want to get right out into the workforce after graduation and enter fields like law enforcement and corrections.

Criminal Justice - Transfer (A.S.)

Get your criminal justice career off on the right foot with an associate degree, then transfer to a four-year school. This program is also a good choice if you're interested in pre-law.

Security Guard

Choose from one of three NYS-approved, credit-free security guard programs — whether you're new to the field or need to keep your certification active.

Public Safety (Microcredential)

Get the skills to step into entry-level public safety positions, learn about security administration, threat assessment and first aid emergencies.

Scholarships
