Richard Luce b. 1950

Richard Luce graduated from Dutchess Community College and then moved to New York City. He began painting while living in Manhattan, and his first paintings reflected his interest in astronomy.

Painting western subjects and wildlife comes naturally to this artist. This interest and fascination with American Indians their culture, religious beliefs, and solid values has enabled him to create paintings unequaled in excellence in this field. His sensitivity and devotion to nature and its wildlife is evident with each stroke of his brush. His concern for nature and its preservation has nurtured his work in wildlife art.

Currently living in Kentucky, Luce continues to paint. His work is exhibited nationally and internationally.
