Born in Xian, Shanxi Province of China, Renjie Song began studying painting after immigrating to the United States. He attended the Malden Bridge School of Art, Malden Bridge, NY; the Cape Cod School of Art, Provincetown, MA; and the Woodstock School of Art, Woodstock, NY. One person exhibits of Song’s work have been held at the Warren Gallery, Malden Bridge, NY; the Clark Whitney Gallery, Lenox, MA; and Channing Hall of the First Unitarian Church, Albany, NY.
Song has been included in numerous group shows including exhibits held at The Museums at Hartwick Collge, Oneonta, NY; The James Cox Gallery, Woodstock, NY; The Cooperstown Artists Association, Cooperstown, NY; and the Washingtonville Centennial, Washingtonville, NY, where he was awarded Best Oil.
Song’s work has been collected worldwide. He is currently an active member of the River Front Artists, Troy, NY.
