Mary Anna Goetz b. 1946

Mary Anna Goetz was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, where she studied with her artist parents Richard and Edith Goetz. After earning a BA from Oklahoma City University, she continued to study painting at the Cape School of Art in Provincetown, MA, and drawing at the New York Academy of Art, New York City.

One person exhibits of Goetz’s work have been held at The National Arts Club, NY; Newman Galleries, Philadelphia; Grand Central Art Galleries, NY; and James Cox Gallery at Woodstock. She has also exhibited at the Museum of the Borough of Brooklyn; the Mississippi Museum of Art, Jackson; the Springfield Museum of Art, Springfield, UT, as well as numerous galleries throughout the country.

Goetz’s work hangs in many corporate and private collections, including the Hudson River Club in New York City, which purchased 37 of her paintings.
