The Department of Performing, Visual Arts and Communications offers courses in the areas of Art, Music, Theatre, Speech, and Communications and Media Arts. The Department currently has 13 full-time faculty and is augmented by a staff of approximately 40 part-time lecturers.
Student work from the PVAC Department is shown regularly on- and off-campus in numerous shows and competitions. The Washington Art Gallery holds student exhibits twice a year; the COM program shows student work to the campus community once a semester; and the Performing Arts program allows for numerous opportunities for students to show their talent on stage in plays, vocal concerts, orchestral concerts, and dance concerts.
