Free tutoring is available for most courses. Tutoring is provided one-on-one or in small groups.
Students applying for tutoring services must complete an application in Hudson Hall, room 315, or at Dutchess South, room 237.
Q: How long does it take to get a tutor?
A: The time to match a tutor with a student depends on both the availability of qualified tutors and the time availability of the student. A match may be made right away. Unfortunately, some matches take a week or two and a very few may never be made if a tutor is not available for that specific class. Generally, tutoring begins within a week.
Q: Do I have to pay for tutoring?
A: No. Tutoring is free for DCC students registered for credit classes.
Q: Other questions?
A: Contact Tracey Ascenzi, Student Academic Success Center Coordinator at (845) 431-8481 or stop by Hudson 315.
