Quilts created by Hudson Valley artists and quilt reproductions from the FDR Library Collection will be on display until Oct. 22 in the College's Mildred I. Washington Art Gallery. The exhibit is free and open to the public.

In light of the recent national conversation about the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) federal policy, a 21-minute documentary called "DREAMers Among US" will be shown in Dutchess Community College's James and Betty Hall Theatre on Sept. 22 at noon. The screening is free and open to the public and will be followed by a panel discussion and Q&A session.

Students can expect enhanced services this fall as Dutchess Community College brings two leading providers to campus. Chartwells Dining Services will manage all campus dining facilities and Follett will operate the DCC Bookstore.

An introductory book about Physics written by Dutchess Community College associate professor Renee Lathrop has just been published by NetPub Education.

Dutchess Community College held its annual graduation ceremony May 18. Associate degrees and career certificates in 48 programs of study were conferred on 1,142 graduates, who ranged in age from 18 to 68. The graduation ceremony was held at the Mid-Hudson Civic Center with almost 4,000 in attendance.
