In an empty theatre, on a bare stage, casting for a new Broadway musical is almost complete. The field’s been narrowed down to just 17 dancers. For these men and women, this audition is the chance of a lifetime. It’s what they’ve worked for — with every drop of sweat, every hour of training, and every day of their lives. It’s the one opportunity to do what they’ve always dreamed of. Not to be the star, but to get the job … to have the chance to dance and come through. They put themselves on the line to get a job on the line. And when they’re done, so is the audition. And the final chorus line of 8 dancers is chosen. Bus leaves from “Lot E” at 10:00 a.m. and returns immediately after the show. Tickets for this event go on sale May 27th.

Broadway Play: "Cry Baby"

Marquis Theatre

Sunday, July 27

Show Time: 3:00 p.m.

It’s 1954 and the bluebloods of Baltimore are facing an atomic sized threat in hip swiveling jeans. From the delightfully demented mind of John Waters and the writers of HAIRSPRAY comes the story of a guitar-playing rebel and the good girl who dares to cross to his side of the tracks. What starts as an innocent romance balloons like a mushroom cloud…as the squares use every weapon in their arsenal to keep him from tickling her taffeta. This off-kilter new musical comedy is such a rocking good time; you’d have to be a commie not to love it. Bus leaves “Lot E” at 11:00 a.m. and returns immediately after the show. Tickets for this event go on sale June 24th.
