Information for 2008 Commencement August 2007/January 2008 Graduates In February, the Student Activities Office mails to all August and January graduates a letter inviting you to participate in the May Graduation Ceremony. If you intend to participate, you must return the cap and gown measurement form attached to the invitation. In order to recieve a graduation packet, the form must be returned before March 30. This packet contains important and timely information regarding graduation day and graduation announcements.
May 2008 Graduates Cap and Gown Measurements
The Office of Student Activities will begin taking measurements on Monday, March 3rd from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. in Dutchess Hall, Room 201. Thereafter, measurements will be taken from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday in the Student Activities Office. Deadline: April 4, 2008
Graduation Packets
Graduation packets will be mailed from the Student Activities Office to all graduation applicants in early April. This packet contains important and timely information regarding graduation day and graduation announcements. Graduation Dinner Dance
The Graduation Dinner Dance will be on Friday, May 9, 2008. See all details in the graduation packet. Cap and Gown Pick Up
Cap and gown pick up will be held two days only. MONDAY AND TUESDAY, May 12th and 13th from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. in Dutchess Hall, Room 205. If you are unable to get your cap and gown at that time, you may have someone pick it up for you. They will need to sign for it. The caps and gowns will not be available for pick up again until 1:00 p.m. graduation day, May 15th in Falcon Hall, Room 102. Honor Stoles
If your CPA was 3.20 or higher at the end of the Fall 2007 Semester, you will be graduating with Academic Honors. Academic Honor Stoles are available for purchase at the cap and gown pickup for a cost of $10.00 each.
