McCann Foundation Scholarship

One award of $900
The McCann Foundation was established by James J. McCann, a local feed and grain dealer. Grants are given each year by the Foundation for community service, recreation, religion, arts, engineering, technology, and education. The McCann Foundation Scholarship is awarded to a full-time, second-year student who is a Dutchess County resident.


Dr. Paul Roland Scholarship
One award of $1,000
This scholarship was established by Dr. Roland’s son, Mark Roland, to honor his father’s commitment to education. Dr. Roland worked for IBM at the Watson Research Center and started his own company, Limnology Information and Freshwater Ecology. This scholarship is awarded to a full or part-time student studying in the area of mathematics, physical, or computer sciences. The student must have a CPA of 3.00 or better.


Daniel P. White Memorial Scholarship

One award of $825
Daniel P. White was an engineer with IBM for many years. His colleagues established this scholarship in his memory to support a full-time student pursuing a degree in technology or a related field.
