Students to Stage 'Vanities' Nov. 13-16

November 4, 2014 – Members of the Dutchess Community College Performing Arts program will join with students in DCC’s Masquers’ Guild performance troupe to present the musical “Vanities” Nov. 13-16.

Show times are 8 p.m. for Nov. 13-15, and 2 p.m. for Nov. 16. All performances will be held in the James and Betty Hall Theatre on DCC’s main Poughkeepsie campus.

The musical tells the story of three popular high school cheerleaders and their struggle to maintain their friendship through college and adulthood. The stage performance is based on the book by Jeff Heifner.

DCC’s production is directed and choreographed by Kevin Archambault with musical direction by Matthew Woolever.

Tickets will be available at the door 30 minutes before each performance. General admission is $10; senior citizens and students are $5; free for DCC students with ID.
