Summer Programs for Kids: Graphics, Gaming, Android App Design and More

June 20, 2013 – For the first time during the summer, the Dutchess Community College Office of Community Services is offering “Geek Camp” as part of its summer program offerings for kids.

The Geek Camp consists of three separate two-week classes, with two sections available for each. Graphics – 3D Blender Software, Game Design and Android App Development will be offered July 1-12 and July 15-26. The Android class is geared toward kids in grades 7-12, while the 3D Software and Game Design courses are for those in grades 9-12.

In addition, there are limited spaces available in DCC’s Play and Learn programs for children ages 6-11. Week-long courses include Outer Space, Sports and Games, Arts and Crafts, Animal Kingdom and Pets, Outdoor Adventures and more. To see the entire list of programs, click here.
