September 13, 2010 – Dutchess Community College’s Mildred I. Washington Art Gallery just launched an exhibit featuring artwork created by DCC students in the spring and summer 2010 semesters. The exhibit will continue through Oct. 1 and is free and open to the public. It features photography, drawings, ceramics, graphics, paintings and more. The work was chosen for display by instructors teaching both introductory and advanced art classes.
The gallery is in the Allyn J. Washington Center for Science and Art on DCC’s main Poughkeepsie campus. Gallery hours are Monday through Thursday, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Friday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
