August 26, 2014 – Dutchess Community College’s Nursing Department is seeking comments from the public as part of its eight-year reaccreditation process with the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing.
A forum for the public will be held on Sept. 17 at 4 p.m. in Bowne Hall, room 122 on DCC’s Poughkeepsie campus. DCC’s nursing program, established in 1960, is open to residents of Dutchess and Putnam counties and is known for providing nurses to hospitals and health care organizations across the mid-Hudson Valley. The program’s last accreditation process took place in 2006.
