March 12, 2012 – The Dutchess Community College Office of Community Services will offer a one-day motorcycle safety course, the Total Control Advanced Riding Clinic, beginning at the end of March.
Created for experienced riders, the 10-hour class will include theory and skills-enhancing range exercises in a controlled environment using students’ own motorcycles, which must be registered, insured and meet New York State DMV safety regulations. Students must attend in full gear with a full tank of gas. Some insurance companies may grant a discount for completing the course.
Class sections will be held March 25, April 15, 29, May 20, 26, 27, June 3 and 24 from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. in Bowne Hall, room 122.
