Performances Featuring Saxophone, Piano Coming to DCC

February 12, 2015 – Two concerts are scheduled at Dutchess Community College in February and March.

French saxophonists Nicolas Prost and Anne Lecapelain will be on campus at the end of February for a series of master classes and collaborations, culminating in a concert Feb. 23 at 7 p.m. in the James and Betty Hall Theatre. Works from French composers such as Debussy, Ibert and Milhaud will be performed.

On March 2 at 4 p.m. in Room 214 of Dutchess Hall, SUNY New Paltz Piano instructor Alex Peh and some of his students will perform pieces for piano and discuss the instrument’s role in music.

Both shows are free and open to the public.
