October 27, 2011 – Prospective students and families interested in learning about Dutchess Community College’s academic programs, financial aid opportunities and the suite-style dormitories opening next year are invited to attend an Admissions Open House on Nov. 11 from 1-4 p.m. in the second-floor North Lounge in Hudson Hall on DCC’s main Poughkeepsie campus.
Participants will be able to experience the College’s campus environment, find out about DCC’s more than 60 two-year degree and one-year certificate programs, learn about financial aid and hear about DCC’s new dorms set to open in the fall of 2012.
The event is a great way for both students and parents to see why DCC – which at $2,900/year charges the lowest tuition in the state – has earned a reputation for providing outstanding quality and value.
The College offers full- and part-time study options and day and evening and online classes, as well as a satellite site in Wappingers Falls.
Contact the DCC Admissions Office at (845) 431-8010 in advance to confirm attendance, or for more information.
Visitors should park in Lot E, cross over to Hudson Hall and take the elevator to the third floor. The second floor North Lounge can be accessed by entering the DCC Library on the third floor and going down the staircase.
