August 21, 2013 – The Dutchess Community College Office of Academic Services and Testing has received the 2013 National College Learning Center Association (NCLCA) Frank L. Christ Outstanding Learning Center Award in the two-year college category.

The award, named after a leader in the academic services field, was created to give national recognition to the work done by learning centers and to foster their future growth and development. Award criteria included range and accessibility of services, inter-campus partnerships, use of technology and staff training.

“This award is a testament to the extraordinary work being done by our Office of Academic Services and Testing to offer extensive resources that foster student success and create a supportive and positive campus learning environment,” said DCC Vice President and Dean of Academic Affairs Dr. José Adames.
