Bevilacqua and Kellogg, who met 10 years ago, are married and live in Napanoch, Ulster County. The couple recently gained the rights to recreate old-time-style radio shows using well-known radio characters. The pair will team with voice actors Jim Folly, Kenny Savoy, and Aundrae Dair to play multiple rolls in each script.

Bevilacqua, who has worked with comedians and voice actors Bob and Ray, Stan Freberg, and Nancy Cartwright (the voice of Bart Simpson), has written and produced hundreds of radio shows, including the popular radio comedy series The Misadventures of Sherlock Holmes, which he co-wrote with Daws Butler, the voice of famous Hanna-Barbera cartoon characters Yogi Bear, Huckleberry Hound, and Quick Draw McGraw.

Bevilacqua was 16 when he began a correspondence with Butler that turned into a 13-year mentorship, with Bevilaqua serving as Butler’s apprentice. Bevilacqua is a frequent contributor to National Public Radio, and in 2004 was awarded a Silver Reel Award from the National Federation of Community Broadcasters for his personal essay A Guy Named Joe Bevilacqua. Bevilacqua regularly contributes to NPR magazines, including All Things Considered.

In addition to Kellogg’s work as a comic writer, actress, and voice actress, Kellogg is a graphic and web designer and painter with an MFA in Film and Video from California Institute of the Arts and a BFA in Photography and Video from the Kansas City Art Institute.

The Comedy-O-Rama Hour can be heard it on XM Satellite Radio's Sonic Theater Channel (163) and public radio stations nationwide on Fridays at 5:00 a.m., 1:00 p.m.., and 9:00 p.m. and on Sundays at 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. (Eastern Time).

Students of Assistant Professor Dana Dorrity will conduct a multiple-camera taping and live editing of the performance for DCC’s Advanced Video Production class. DCC offers an Associate in Science degree in Communications and Media Arts, with tracks in video, audio, and special effects. The intensive, two-year curriculum provides students with a strong foundation in video production as part of their liberal arts education.
