Math Lab

The Math Lab Center is a great place for students to work on math related homework and projects. There is space for students to work in groups or on their own. A collection of textbooks and calculators are available for use while in the Center.

The computers in the Math Center are equipped with all the necessary tools for students working on math and science projects, including interactive computer tutorials for some classes. You can also check out our links page for more resources available on the internet.

Tutors are available to assist students with their work. These tutors are students who have excelled in their mathematics classes. The role of the tutors is to help students through the process of problem solving, not to solve problems for the students.

What tutors at the Math Lab Center do:

  • Help students with starting homework and projects.
  • Answer questions about how to approach problems.
  • Encourage students to learn problem solving techniques.

What tutors at the Math Lab Center don't do:

  • Solve assigned problems.
  • Check completed assignments for errors.
