Margaret Crenson was born in New York City. There she went on to study painting at The Art Students League where she was a pupil of Edwin Dickenson. Crenson’s work has been shown throughout the Hudson Valley, including solo exhibits at The Culinary Institute of America, Hyde Park; Barrett House Galleries, Poughkeepsie; Donskoy and Co., Kingston, NY; and Albert Shahinian Fine Art, New Paltz. She has also been included in group shows at Warren Street Gallery, Hudson, NY; Lorraine Kessler Gallery, Poughkeepsie, NY; Tivoli Artists Co-Op, Tivoli, NY, Carrie Haddad Gallery, Hudson, NY; and the Kleinert Gallery, Woodstock.
