Welcome to Hudson Valley FIRST® LEGO® League (HVFLL)!!! For information and networking opportunities among coaches, parents, and volunteers, please check out our webpage: http://www.facebook.com/HudsonValleyFLL. Information about HVFLL is also provided at https://sites.google.com/site/hudsonvalleyfirstlegoleague (You do not need to be a Facebook user or have a Google account to view these pages).
Registration for the HVFLL Regional Tournament will be open at noon on Monday, October 17, 2016 and will close at noon on Wednesday, November 16, 2016. During that time, a link will be available on this page for registration.
Please read the following paragraph carefully to understand our registration policy.
We operate on a first come first served basis. You must register ONLY for the tournament you plan to attend. Due to the rapid growth of FLL in the region, our registration policy strives to balance the demand on the HVFLL organizers/volunteers with the demand for tournament slots. With this in mind, we are offering nine qualifying tournaments, each with 12 available FLL team slots for a total of 108 slots. There is no wait list on a per tournament basis, therefore the only way to guarantee a spot is to register for an available tournament. In the spirit of gracious professionalism, we ask that teams register for only one tournament. If a team registers for more than one tournament, all registrations after the first will be cancelled. We also ask that teams from outside the HVFLL region to not register for one of our tournaments until after November 1, 2016. In the same spirit, we ask that if your team is competing elsewhere prior to the HVFLL tournament, that you do not register for our tournament until after November 1. Once all slots at all tournaments have been filled a waiting list will be made available, but these teams will only be selected if a team drops out. The teams on the waiting list will be selected in the order in which they were added, and will be offered a spot at the tournament which has an opening without team preference for location.
Please read all the information provided on this page prior to registering.
For the 2016-2017 season, a total of 9 qualifying tournaments will be held. There are 12 senior teams competing in a single tournament insuring that the tournaments are kept to a manageable size and facilitating a high quality experience for everyone attending. Additionally, all tournament sites are planning to host FLL Jr. teams except for RPI. The tournament sites, dates, and teams to be accommodated are listed below and more information is available at https://sites.google.com/site/hudsonvalleyfirstlegoleague/home:
