Welcome to Financial Aid
We realize that attending college is one of the most important investments you'll ever make. And since finances are critical to your college career, the Financial Aid Office at DCC provides you Financial aid is available for qualified students and is awarded on the basis of student need and the availability of funds. We assist more than 5,000 students each academic year. Please contact the Financial Aid office at (845) 431-8030 if you have any questions or would like more information, or click on the links in the left hand column on this page. The Admissions application and the Financial Aid application are two different processes. Even if you have a financial need, you must still apply and fill out the application for admission to the college. NOTE: Please make sure every page of any documents sent to the Office of Financial Aid includes the student's name and Social Security Number. Also, please be sure to make copies of all of the documents you submit. Business Hours: Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pm Tuesday evenings during the fall and spring semesters, we are open until 7:00 p.m. when classes are in session. (845-431-8030) To better service our students, we offer walk-in hours and appointments to see a counselors. Counselors are broken down by the alphabet of the student’s last name. If your last name begins with an A-L your financial aid counselor is Mr. Robert Zasso. Walk-in hours (no appointment needed) are Monday, Wednesday, and Friday: 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and Tuesday and Thursday: 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
If your last name begins with an M-R your financial aid counselor is Mrs. Rachel Craparo. Walk-in hours (no appointment needed) are Monday, Wednesday, and Friday: 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and Tuesday and Thursday: 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. If you last name beings with an S-Z your financial aid counselor is Mrs. Susan Mead. Please call (845) 431-8030 to schedule an appointment with Mrs. Mead.
Attention Financial Aid Applicants: Due to the volume of applications, we regret that we cannot make copies of your income documentation and other financial aid documents we may require. Please provide us with the appropriate copies of tax returns, W-2 forms, or untaxed income statements that we may keep in our files. Thank You!!!! For Your Convenience There are four copiers located in the Library:
Three are located in Hudson Hall Room 334 and All copies made require payment.
