3.         Ross Allison, Ghost Hunter

            Thursday, November 2; 8:00 p.m.

Greenspan North Cafeteria

Ross Allison is the founding President of AGHOST, the largest, most active ghost-hunting group in the Northwest using scientific methods to study ghosts.  His interest began with ghost stories told by his mother, and his fifteen years of experience pursuing the unknown led him to organize his Seattle-based ghost-hunting group.  The organization has hosted training sessions, expeditions, and investigations into the paranormal for five years.  Mr. Allison is well-versed in the study of the paranormal and conducts classes at the college level on such topics as Ghostology and Psychic Development.

4.         The Friday Night Film on November 3 will be “Clerks” (R), which will be shown at 8:00 p.m. in the James and Betty Hall Theatre.  Ten years ago, best friends Dante Hicks and Randal Graves were New Jersey mini-mall clerks still slacking off together in their early 20s.  Now working in the fast-food universe, Dante and Randal have managed to maintain, and even hone, their in-your-fact attitudes, agile skill with vulgarities, and unbridled love of cheating the customers.  All members of the college community are invited to this free film showing at which DCC students with valid ID will receive priority seating until 7:45 p.m.

5.         On Saturday, November 4, at 11:00 a.m. in the James and Betty Hall Theatre, the Family Festival will present Steve Johnson’s Magic Variety Show.  Steve sets the stage for fine entertainment by establishing an exceptional rapport with the audience.  Using innovative adaptations of magic, comedy, and juggling, he draws the audience into a memorable entertainment journey.  Maintaining a contemporary, upbeat and humorous atmosphere, the show celebrates excellence in entertainment.  All members of the college community are invited to bring their children to this free program.
