Physical Science Faculty

The Department of Mathematics, Physical and Computer Sciences is seeking a qualified candidate to teach a wide range of general science courses including astronomy, physical science, earth science, and general chemistry. Applicants must possess professional experience that demonstrates an enthusiasm and interest in science education and problem-based learning, experience with teaching laboratory courses, and the ability to integrate technology-based applications in the instructional process. Some evening and/or off campus teaching may be required. This temporary full-time position is for the 2008-2009 academic year and may be renewable for two more years.

Qualifications: A Master’s degree in a physical science is required. Knowledge of the problems, needs and characteristics of the community college and its students is important.
