To ensure the health and well-being of our students, those living in the residence hall will be required to choose a meal plan during the summer prior to the start of the fall semester. (Students will be notified via myDCC email when the meal plan selection process begins. Those who don't select a meal plan will be assigned one.) Our dining services provider – a worldwide firm that also serves some of our area's leading local private and public colleges – offers three options to meet students’ needs. These plans include "flex dollars" that enable students to make additional food and snack purchases at the on-campus Drumlin Market and the Atrium Cafe. Unused flex dollars may be rolled over from the fall to spring semester, but expire at the end of the academic year in May. You can increase your meal plan options at any time through MyHousing or the DCC Bookstore. During the first two weeks of the semester you will be able to increase or decrease your meal plan. After the two-week grace period, you will only be allowed to increase your meal plan.
On weekdays, three meals per day will be served in the Drumlin Market. Lunches and dinners are complete meals called “meal equivalents” and include a choice of entrée, salad, side dish, beverage and dessert. On weekends and holidays when the College is closed, students will enjoy all-you-care-to-eat brunches and meal-equivalent dinners in the residence hall Atrium Cafe.
|Ten meals per week||$1,100 per semester|
|Twelve meals per week||$1,250 per semester|
|Fourteen meals per week||$1,400 per semester|
All students are required to select a meal plan. Students can choose from three meal plans and from four amounts of Flex dollars. Flex dollars can be used only at Drumlin Market and the Atrium Cafe. Flex dollar choices of $200, $400, $600 and $800 are available to complete your meal plan
