The premise of this invitational show was a question; “What are the structures of nature and how might they dictate the structures of art?"

Franz Heigemeir; Paintings

Mr. Heigemeir has had a long career as type designer, graphic artist and calligrapher. He taught at DCC for 20 years and designed the DUE Award. His type designs include Modula and Organda and he has designed many business logos in our region and beyond. He has based this series of paintings on close-up views of the night-blooming Cereus cactus flower.
