Welcome to the Net Price Calculator for Dutchess Community College. This tool, provided by all public colleges and most private colleges in the U.S., allows students and their families to estimate how much full-time study during freshman year likely will cost. For your information, it is important to note that room and board expenses are itemized, even if you specify that you will be living at home with your parents. These and other miscellaneous expenses (including books and supplies, personal expenses and transportation) will vary according to the individual student's living arrangements. The “Cost Paid Directly to Dutchess Community College” is the fixed expense of tuition and fees (DCC has the lowest tuition in New York state). Please note that DCC now offers beautiful, suite-style on-campus housing, but SUNY has not yet added it to the housing dropdown menu. For more information about our new residence hall, visit www.sunydutchess.edu/dorm.
In comparing schools you may want to pay particular attention to the Estimated Loans and Grants/Scholarships line items. With the average U.S. college student now incurring about $25,000 in student loan debt, it is important to be an informed consumer. That’s why more students than ever are choosing to attend DCC for their first two years of college and then transfer to prestigious colleges and universities including Cornell, RPI, Vassar, Marist, Smith, Northeastern and top SUNY schools.
In addition to offering the lowest tuition in the state, DCC provides the Charles E. and Mabel E. Conklin Scholarship -- two years of free tuition to students who graduate in the top 10% of their Dutchess County high school and attend DCC immediately following graduation.
