The Business Office is responsible for all functions related to the financial accounting of all financial affairs of the College. This includes budget preparation, audit, cash disbursement, cash receipts, and general ledger. The Business Office is primarily responsible for the maintenance of an accounting system for the proper recording and reporting of all financial transactions of the College and the preparation of financial and statistical reports required for internal management and for external agencies. In addition, this office prepares and distributes the College’s annual operating budget, and oversees expenditures of all funds to ensure they are within approved departmental allocations and assists in the development of financial data as required for or in support of long-range planning.
