DCC SOUTH is an extension of the main campus that offers the residents of the southern part of the county the opportunity to experience the same excellent education, closer to home or work. It is located in Wappingers Falls and helps serve the academic and training needs of the residents of the southern part of Dutchess County and northern Putnam County. Currently, almost 20% of the students enrolled at Dutchess Community College take classes at DCC SOUTH.

The easily accessible building, right next to the DMV offices, includes twenty-two multi-purpose classrooms, a distance learning classroom, an emergency medical technologies lab, three networked computer classrooms, and lots of parking!

All DCC SOUTH students have access to a library, academic support, academic advising, and career counseling. More than 150 credit courses and 110 credit-free courses are offered each semester during the day, evenings, and on Saturdays.
