Certified Alcohol and Substance Abuse Counselor (CASAC) Instructors
The Office of Community Services is seeking part-time Certified Alcohol and Substance Abuse Counselor (CASAC) Instructors to teach the following modules:
CAS101 ALCOHOLISM AND SUBSTANCE ABUSE BASIC KNOWLEDGE
CAS102 ALCOHOLISM AND SUBSTANCE ABUSE COUNSELING PART 1
CAS104 ASSESSMENT & EVALUATION
Candidates should have prior teaching experience, be able to work effectively with a diverse student population, possess proficient writing and record keeping skills and be able correspond via email. Master’s degree preferred, bachelor’s considered. CASAC-T preferred. Classes start in early May on the DCC main campus. Class times are a combination of 1 weeknight per-week from 6:30 p.m.-10 p.m. and approximately 4 Saturdays per-semester from 8 a.m.- 4 p.m.
