Dutchess Community College will host “Our Native Soil: The Dish on Dutchess County’s Dirt,” a symposium featuring experts in farming and soil-related topics, on April 8 between 9 a.m. and 12:15 p.m.

The Dutchess Community College Foundation’s annual Gala - Community’s Bridge to the Future - will be held on Saturday, March 25 at 6 p.m. at the Grandview in Poughkeepsie.

Artwork in multiple mediums created by Dutchess Community College Associate Professor of Communications Juan Garcia-Nunez will be on display between Feb. 27 and March 31 in the College’s Mildred I. Washington Art Gallery.

A lecture and discussion about black leadership and capitalism, an evening of cultural dance and a gospel celebration are just a few of the activities Dutchess Community College is offering to mark Black History Month. All of the events will be held at DCC’s Poughkeepsie campus and are free and open to the public.

Timmian Massie, senior vice president for Marketing, Public Affairs and Government Relations at Health Quest, was named to the Dutchess Community College Board of Trustees at its December meeting. His term will expire in 2021.

The musical "Legally Blonde" will be staged Nov. 11-13 and 18-20 by members of the Dutchess Community College Performing Arts program and students in DCC's Masquers' Guild Theatre Club.

Dutchess Community College has launched a new site at the Family Partnership Center in the City of Poughkeepsie, where the College's Office of Community Services is offering English as a Second Language (ESL) and High School Equivalency (HSE) classes.

The annual College Fair hosted by Dutchess Community College will take place Oct. 17 from 6 to 8 p.m. in Falcon Hall on the main DCC campus in Poughkeepsie. Registration is not required.
