Each full-time student at DCC is assigned an advisor who assists in the selection of courses and meeting curriculum requirements.

Advisement for part-time students is provided day and evening hours by the staff of the Office of the Registrar.

Students are urged to take the initiative in meeting early and regularly with their advisors and to take full advantage of the advisement services available. It is the student's responsibility to make certain that graduation requirements are met.

Students in their second semesters may opt to self-advise. Contact the Registrar's Office for information on this process.
